What planned vehicle transport covers
Use this service for planned moves between a home, seller, garage, dealer, NCT centre or another agreed address. It is different from help beside a vehicle that has just broken down. If the car is stranded, ask whether recovery is more suitable.
Non-running, damaged and low-clearance cars
Tell us if the vehicle starts, rolls and steers, and mention flat tyres, collision damage, a locked parking brake or fluid leaks. Classic and vintage cars may need extra care around ground clearance and loading points. Do not assume the same method suits every model; provide the vehicle details and any manufacturer guidance.
Collection from a seller, garage or test centre
Confirm that the vehicle can be released and that someone will be available if keys or paperwork need to be handed over. For a garage or NCT-related move, share opening hours and any instructions about the vehicle. A failed test alone does not say whether the car is safe to drive, so describe the specific issue.
Plan access at both ends
Share the full pickup and delivery locations, preferred date or time, and any gates, height restrictions, narrow entrances or timed access. Check that the destination can accept the vehicle when it arrives. If the route, condition or timing changes, confirm whether the arrangement or price needs to change before transport begins.
Dublin journeys and the call
For a move around Dublin, give the exact addresses rather than only the area names. Mention airport, city-centre or underground-car-park access if it affects collection. We will ask about the vehicle and the route, then discuss the service and costs before you decide.
For a vehicle that has stopped unexpectedly, compare this with breakdown recovery before arranging a planned move.
